As I reflect over the course of this capstone class and the entire Innovative Learning program I feel that I have grown so much. I have grown as a teacher, student and technology person. I really don't feel like a tech pro but I know a whole lot more now then I ever imagined. I feel empowered and proud of my work. It makes me consider my own way of teaching and how I can make important changes that are more innovative, I feel inspired to be a part of making important changes in the future .in education. I want to be an advocate for innovative teaching and implementation of the
TPACK framework. There were many times I felt frustrated and overwhelmed. I've had to redo things that got deleted or lost out of no fault of my own. When technology doesn't save your work and malfunctions it can be very awful. I've come close to melt-downs during this program. It is nice to have a supportive cohort, friends and colleagues to turn to for support. I have really enjoyed this cohort and their eagerness to network and help each other. Everyone has been respectful and great critical friends when needed. I think the different grade levels presented and experiences in our cohort was a positive strength. I feel that we've learned so much from each other. I like how this program was online and we had a flipped learning model of classes. The teachers have been wonderful, personable and helpful. I will be moving on to a second program this fall. It is in Educational Leadership. I hope that the teachers remain great and the next cohort is just as awesome. I would definitely recommend this program and Touro University to others. Thankyou!
