I decided to try wevideo for my presentation. I started out watching the wevideo tutorial which was long and informative. I learn best by trial and error. I didn't go through it with a fine tooth comb. As I began my first experience with trying my video presentation I felt lost at first. I was frustrated with the quality of sound I had and I'm not sure how to fix that problem. I will keep trying. I just did a voice recording for practice. I read my script but didn't add anything else to it. I have less then 100 words so I think I am able to keep it within the time frame.
My other challenge still remains. How do I make this exciting yet fit everything in 1 in a half minutes? We also have the pressure of making it appear professional and graduate level student material. I am a bit stressed out about that. I may need to try another video making option such as Imovie. I honestly don't know how long I will give myself a chance at understanding how to use wevideo. I know it will all come together well, it's just the process and learning curve that has me stressed out right now.
